Pricing

Speak! operates a flexible pricing structure with discounted rates available for public sector, third sector, and community groups. If you’re unsure which price band your organisation is in, please do contact us.

We believe in honesty and openness, so we trust you to tell us which price band your organisation is in. Travel costs are paid by the client.

Speak! may on occasion gift a free or low cost course or policy review to organisations who would not otherwise be able to access training. Please do ask – we’ll always do our best to help if we can.

Costs:

Training costs include the following, and are based on a minimum of 6 participants and a maximum of 16. For larger groups, please contact me to discuss.

  • Tailoring call to discuss your needs and goals for the course 1
  • Production of a bespoke course, tailored to your needs
  • Handouts and any other course materials
  • Use of fidget toys, colouring sheets, and other accelerated learning aids 2
  • Course delivery
  • Analysis of feedback
  • Revisions for future sessions 3
  • Access to all course materials 4

Half Day Courses

Half day courses are between 2 and 4 hours.

Policy and Consulting

My consultancy rate is £150/hr. This is negotiable, and I am very willing to work with you to explore what is possible within your budget.

Subsidised Hours

In future I am hoping to be able to provide some subsidised hours to smaller third sector organisations and community groups. Please follow my social media, or check back here for more information.

Booking

To book a course contact  us 

A £150.00, non-refundable, deposit is required on booking, unless otherwise agreed.

Payment

Payment is by bank transfer, cheque, or cash.  Speak! is not currently able to accept card payments.

Payment is due within 30 days of the invoice date. Late fees of 8% plus the Bank of England base rate are applicable, and will be calculated on a per day basis.

Cancellation Fees

Cancellations charges will vary from client to client depending on the nature of the work. However, an example of typical cancellation fees would be:

  • 10 working days or more before the course: No cancellation charge. Your deposit is non-refundable, and will be retained. If you have paid the balance, this will be refunded in full.
  • 5 working days or more before the course: 50% of the balance will be payable.
  • 2 working days or less before the course: The full course cost will be payable.

Why does Speak! charge cancellation fees? In advance of your course we will be working hard to prepare your course materials, tailoring the course to suit your organisation and requirements, and much more. Cancellation charges cover the cost of this work, and of any materials.

Notes:

1 – Tailoring calls are capped at 2 hours. Additional hours are billable at the consultation rate listed above

2 – Use of fidget toys and other accelerated learning aids are for in person training sessions only. Printable colouring sheets will be supplied for online training.

3 – Revisions for future sessions are capped at 1 hours work. Any additional hours will be billed at the consultancy rate above, unless otherwise agreed. All additional hours will be signed off in writing by the Client in advance.

4 – Course materials will be provided in a limited format, without facilitator notes. All course materials produced by Speak! Training & Consulting remain our intellectual property and may not be copied, shared, or used to provide training either in house or on a commercial basis, unless otherwise agreed.
